September Update

The action continues to be incredible in the lake. Salmon can be found in 60-120 feet of water and are plentiful from Oswego to Henderson. A few have started showing up in the Salmon River, but with the drought conditions we have had this year, and below minimum base flows, we may see a short delay on big runs until we get much needed rainfall. The reserviors that feed the SR are at an all time low. Without adequate water in them, river flows are very low. In my opinion, too low for “sportfishing” and very bad for the fish to move freely. I’m glad I held off booking trips until the last week of September. Check out my new rate specials I’m trying for this winter. With everything else going up in cost, I’m offering some good news! Steelhead anyone?
